WEEK 1. ON-BOARDING - YOUR FOUNDATION
“Your pain has a story. I’ll help you rewrite it.”
We start by understanding your story. This week is all about ‘you’, building trust, setting the tone and getting your personalised plan in motion.
Module 1:
Personal thoughts and expectations on this programme. Past and present health history, medication, lifestyle activities and barriers to change.
Module 2:
Integrating Test-based Nutrition – Your health foundation explained from an 'inside the body' perspective. Do you hold hidden inflammation? Are you out of balance.. Let's explore the science and take the test, with a complimentary Balance Test Kit!
Your health is so important to us, so you will be assessed for any red flags or contraindications with prescribed medication and your present health situation. You will have access to fact sheets and videos resources.
WEEK 2. THOUGHTS AND FEARS
Module 3:
Addressing the fears of pain - Why do I feel stuck? Addressing self-confidence and self-belief. Let's build your confidence to move and trust the process.
You can do something about it!
Module 4:
Live video Posture Analysis and Programme Overview - Let's not miss anything!
Exercise discussion and demo. Passive relaxation 10-15 minute live session, to help with stress and fear, to bring calm.
WEEK 3. MOVEMENT & EXERCISE
Module 5:
Understanding - The principles of exercise rehab, discussing your personal programme goals and outcomes. Types of exercise to specifically manage your pain. When to Stop if pain is increased. The Importance and benefits of stretching, different types, techniques to practice at home. Importance of ‘The Mind Body connection.’
WEEK 4. PRACTICAL EXERCISE AND BREATHING
Module 6:
1:1 mentoring 'your' chronic pain (personalised to you) and coping strategies. Live exercise techniques and consistency. Breathing exercises to calm the mind and reset. Healthy eating, nutritional health, Test-based nutrition and Zinzino.
WEEK 5. BARRIERS & ACCOUNTABILITY
Module 7:
Practical exercise, seated or standing. Recap on mindset, barriers and accountability. Update on Programme/progression/adaptation and level of pain. Live passive relaxation and breathing session - Total 'Calm' and 'Peace' - 10-15 minutes.
WEEK 6. SELF-HELP EXERCISE
Module 8:
Self-help exercises when managing pain at home and how to use ice and heat. What is active rest? Coping with stress through journaling and using the journals provided in this programme. How to relax - Live passive relaxation and breathing session - Total 'Calm' and 'Peace' - 10-15 minutes.
WEEK 7. 1:1 ONLINE MOVEMENT COACHING SESSION
Module 9:
Reflection and Progression.
1:1 online programme coaching session (30 mins). Technique and safety first. Coping with Pain points - Consistency, accountability and self-confidence for lifestyle changes.
WEEK 8. PAIN PROGRAMME AND MENTAL WELLNESS
Module 10:
1:1 ongoing chronic pain mentoring support. Pain management programme amendments, adaptations and progression. Re-cap of how, when and why, your thoughts, barriers and mental wellness. Learn a 5 minute reset to feeling calm.
WEEK 9. REVIEW ADDITIONAL COURSE ADD-ONS -EXTENSIONS
Module 11:
Preparing now you’ve reached week 9… Fantastic! Well done! Follow on programme or adding on a mini course extension if preferred, for continuation. Exercise, mindset and mental wellbeing. Test-based nutrition update and what’s next.
WEEK 10. FINAL TASKS & REFLECTION
Module 12:
Review. Adaptations, Progression, exercise overview and updated programme for you to keep. Live exercise session of any new rehab exercises. Are you mindset ready? Have we progressed? Coping pain strategies and lifestyle changes moving forward. Let’s discuss and re-cap on what you’ve learnt and achieved.
