About

My journey from personal trainer to award-winning pain specialist has shown me that lasting relief comes only when we address the whole person—not just symptoms. Through my 'Whole Approach Coaching' methodology, I identify the unique root causes of your pain, whether it's back issues, joint problems, inflammation, or sports injuries.
My clients experience not just pain reduction, but transformation—improved mobility, better sleep, reduced anxiety, and renewed confidence to engage fully in life again. I'm particularly skilled in revealing the crucial mind-body connections that many practitioners miss.
My mission is simple: to help you reclaim the active, fulfilling life you deserve through science-backed, personalized solutions that address your pain at its source. Because your pain is unique, your path to healing should be too.

My path to becoming a chronic pain specialist began nearly two decades ago when I first qualified as an accredited YMCA Personal Trainer. What started as a passion for fitness quickly evolved as I recognized that true wellness demands a deeper understanding of the body's complex systems and the crucial mind-body connection.
Early in my career, I expanded my expertise by becoming a sports massage therapist and functional training instructor, working with clients whose physical limitations often stemmed from unresolved pain. This led me to pursue specialized training as a GP referred exercise practitioner, allowing me to work with patients whose conditions required medical oversight and careful rehabilitation.
A significant turning point came when I joined the prestigious wellbeing team at Champneys luxury health spa resort at Springs in Leicestershire. Working with elite and celebrity clientele exposed me to complex cases that conventional approaches couldn't fully address. It was here that I began developing what would later become my 'Whole Approach Coaching' methodology—a comprehensive system that looks beyond symptoms to identify root causes.
After my time at Champneys, I continued as a freelance Sports Massage Therapist while also serving as a Fitness and GP Referred Instructor at Measham Leisure Centre for the North-West Leicestershire GP Referral Scheme. These experiences reinforced my understanding that chronic pain rarely has a single cause—it's typically the result of multiple interconnected factors that conventional medicine often treats in isolation.
Seeking to deepen my expertise, I became an accredited Advanced Dorn Practitioner, adding specialized manual therapy techniques to my toolkit. The transformative results I witnessed in clients led me to pursue certification as a chronic pain management coach and FHT accredited therapist, formalizing my holistic approach to pain resolution.
Throughout this 19-year journey, one truth has become increasingly clear: chronic pain affects both body and mind in a continuous feedback loop. Physical discomfort creates mental distress, which in turn amplifies physical symptoms. Breaking this cycle requires addressing both simultaneously—a principle that now forms the cornerstone of my practice.
Today, my work focuses on helping clients with back pain, joint issues, arthritis, inflammation, autoimmune conditions, muscular imbalances, and sports injuries through bespoke programmes that combine targeted physical interventions with mental wellness strategies. I remain passionately committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending workshops, seminars, and training events to stay at the forefront of pain management research and techniques.
I firmly believe that knowledge is power, and sharing that knowledge with you is essential to your healing journey.
