The Dorn Method
The Dorn Method Therapy focuses on restoring balance to the body to help avoid many health problems. It is a gentle and safe manual therapy focusing on back and joint pain but can also help with neck and shoulder pain issues. Dorn is used to correct realignments of the spine and other joints and is very safe and effective. It involves no ‘clicking’ or ‘crunching’ sensations, that many people fear or dislike.
A Breuss Spinal Massage is included at the end of the Dorn treatment to calm, relax and nourish the spine. This can be booked as a separate massage treatment on its own if required. It provides an excellent maintenance and preventative joint care system designed to help with pain and look after your body over the long term. It’s an amazing treatment providing excellent results and with the ‘self-help’ exercises given to you and fully demonstrated, will enable you to continue with an ongoing treatment plan at home.

Pain Relief: The Dorn Method is effective in alleviating pain associated with spinal misalignments, joint pain, muscle tension and chronic pain conditions, often providing immediate relief.
Non-Invasive: Unlike other spinal adjustment techniques, the Dorn Method does not require manipulation or cracking of the spine, making it a non-invasive treatment.
Improved Posture: The Dorn Method helps correct misalignments that can affect posture, leading to improved alignment of the spine and overall body posture.
Increased Mobility: By correcting joint and spinal misalignments, the Dorn Method can help increase flexibility and range of motion, especially in the spine, hips, and joints.
Personalised Treatment: The method is tailored to each individual, taking into account their specific musculoskeletal issues and health conditions, allowing for customised care.
Relieves Tension: The Dorn Method can help reduce muscular tension and stiffness, often associated with stress or incorrect posture, leading to a more relaxed body.
Supports Balance: Correcting misalignments in the spine and joints helps improve overall balance and coordination, reducing the risk of falls and injuries.
Improved Circulation: The technique may stimulate blood flow and lymphatic drainage, which can enhance circulation and aid in the body’s natural healing process.
Better Nerve Function: By addressing spinal misalignments, the Dorn Method can improve nerve function, potentially reducing symptoms like numbness, tingling, or weakness in the limbs.
Complementary Therapy: It can be used alongside other therapies, such as physical therapy or chiropractic care, to enhance overall healing and well-being.
